Inspirational swimming pools across the world

Pools are great places to rest and relax, to cool off as well as exercise. Many pools are incredibly inspiring too, providing us with an amazing view or perhaps located in an exotic location.

So, we are continuing with our recent exploration of the world’s  awesome pools … let us take a look at a few more:

  1. Infinity and beyond…

What’s not to love about an infinity pool? They are incredibly elegant and capable of playing the most astonishing tricks on the eye, as we glance across into the horizon.

The Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool in Singapore is one of the most spectacular infinity pools in the world. It is located on the edge of the hotel and stretches for no less than 150 metres, providing great views across the city skyline.

  1. Waterpark heaven

We all also love a waterpark… they are not just for the kids! A bit closer to home is the Tropical Islands Resort in Krausnick, Germany: largest indoor water park in the world. The waterpark was built in a zeppelin (a type of airship) hangar, although this aircraft was never constructed.

  1. Thermal baths in Hungary

Not so much a pool… but still an incredible swimming experience in Budapest’s Art Nouveau style Gellert Baths. These waters feature mosaic tile floors and walls and stained glass windows. Definitely well worth a visit if you are travelling to Hungary.

We think these pools are inspirational – and we can help you construct the pool of your dreams. Please get in touch to find out more.
