- Choose your preferred surface: for example synthetic grass or clay. It is important to undertake first a study of the configuration of the ground and the condition of the soil. Synthetic grass (or turf) is often a good choice as it is better for the body when in contact with the ground – reducing the risk of injury – and is easy to maintain.
